    We offer a fully refundable 7-day guarantee. If for any reason you’re not happy, don’t stress—we’ll happily refund your money.

  • What kind of computer powers the UpBoard?

    Each UpBoard is powered by a hand-built mini-computer (Raspberry Pi), custom-assembled using the best components to ensure speed, reliability, and seamless performance. The computer is integrated into the back of the display, keeping everything tidy and streamlined.

  • What kind of screen does the UpBoard use?

    We source our displays from ex-government auctions, preventing them from being thrown away and reducing waste. These screens are high quality and tested to ensure top performance.

  • Why don’t you use brand-new monitors?

    The latest consumer monitors often have no bezel, which means you can’t attach a proper frame. By sourcing from government auctions, we get screens that work perfectly with our hand-crafted frames while also keeping waste out of landfills.

  • What is the UpBoard frame made from?

    Each UpBoard is framed with Tasmanian Oak, chosen for its strength, durability, and premium finish. All frames are hand made in Watson, ACT

  • What does the UpBoard display?

    It syncs with your existing calendar (Google, Apple, Outlook) to track family events, birthdays, bill reminders, sports schedules, and more. It also shows live weather forecasts, stock updates, news feeds, and a rotating selection of your personal photos.

  • Do I need a subscription?

    To get the full benefits of your UpBoard, you’ll need a Dakboard subscription. Simply purchase a yearly Dakboard subscription, pass the details to us, and we’ll fully integrate it before delivery.

  • How does delivery work?

    Other companies just ship the screen and leave you to figure it out. We don’t do that. We personally set up every UpBoard either in home or via Skype, making sure everything works before we consider the job done.

  • Is it easy to set up?

    Yes—because we do it for you. When your UpBoard arrives, we personally take you through the setup process . We’ll link your calendars, photos, and other integrations so that everything works straight out of the box

  • What happens if something breaks?

    UpBoards are designed to be modular, meaning we stock spare parts and can replace components if needed. Every board also comes with a 12-month guarantee.

  • Can I see an UpBoard before I buy?

    Absolutely. If you’re in Canberra, you’re welcome to see one in action. We also have multiple customers in Canberra who would be happy to show you theirs. Just reach out, and we’ll set it up.

  • Do you offer discounts?

    No. We never run sales, we never offer discounts, and we never inflate our prices.

  • Is the UpBoard wall-mounted?

    The current UpBoard is designed to lean against a shelf for a clean, minimalist look. Future models will include wall-mounting options—stay tuned!

  • Where do you ship?

    We currently hand-deliver all orders within Canberra. If you’re outside this area, contact us, and we’ll see what we can do.

  • How long will my order take?

    Each UpBoard is made to order and fully customised. Expect a 3 -6 week production time + hand-delivery.

  • Can I display my personal photos?

    How many photos can I add?

    Apple Photos users: Limited to 500 photos. For the best results, we recommend vertical (portrait) photos over horizontal.

    Google Photos users: Can sync up to 10,000 photos.

  • How do I update my UpBoard’s calendar?

    Once your Dakboard is set up, it's completely hands-off. If you need to add an event, just do it on your phone, and it will instantly appear on your UpBoard—no extra steps, no manual syncing.ription goes here

  • Do you have access to my personal data?

    No. Once we set up your UpBoard, we do not have access to your photos, credit card details, or any personal information. We will however have access to your calendar to assist with after sales support. If you’re not comfortable with this, you simply can change your password and we wont be able to access a thing. ( and yes, we still will support where we can, not that we have issues often)

  • Can YSM. make adjustments for me after setup?

    If you're happy for us to have your Dakboard account password, we can log in to make tweaks or troubleshoot any issues. Even with this access, we still do not have access to any of your private data.

    What if I don’t want YSM. to have access?
    No problem—simply change your Dakboard password after setup, and we won’t be able to log in.
